Cookin'Locker ("we," or "us") knows that your privacy is important to you. This policy explains what information of yours will be collected by Cookin'Locker when you use cookinlocker.com (the "site") and any related services. It also explains how the collected information will be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of information. We will never use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
User-Provided Information
If you sign up for this site, you provide us information about yourself, such as your name and email address. If you contact us through email, we may retain your email message, your email address, and our replies. In addition, you may provide more details in your profile and control what information is publicly available and what information is hidden. By default, just your picture and first name are displayed to the public. If you don't want your picture displayed, you can remove it by selecting the gravatar image.
If you connect your account through Facebook, Twitter, or Google, we may receive information from them, including your name, email address and picture. You can delete this information by deleting the connection through your account settings. If you delete your connection, you can no longer use it to sign into Cookin'Locker.
Cookies Information
When you visit Cookin'Locker, we send one or more cookies that helps us uniquely identify your browser. These are required in order for us to be able keep you signed into the site. You make delete the cookies after you are done. If you do not select the "remember me" option, these cookies will usually be deleted when you close your browser.
We may also use these cookies to track which pages you visit in our site. We will only use the information gathered from your cookies to improve the functionality of our site and improve our marketing.
Log File Information
When you visit any website, your browser sends information which gets recorded in our server logs. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.
Tracking Code
We use a third-party service that uses Javascript to collect more information about visitors to our site. None of this information is used to personally identify an individual, but is used to provide more information about our visitors, like where a majority of our visitors come from, what computers and browsers they use, and general information about their other interests.
How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information that you submit to use to operate and maintain the site and provide you features. We will never share your personal information unless instructed by you, or we are legally required to do so.
Information that you voluntarily submit to our website may be available to the public. This information includes recipes, profile information, reviews, comments, and anything else you submit to us. If you delete this information, it may still be viewable in cached copies, archives, or if another user has copied them.
By providing us your email address you consent that we may use this email address to send you service notices, including notices required by law, in lieu of communication through postal mail.
We may also use your email address to send you service updates, newsletters, or special offers. If you do not wish you receive these email, you will be able to opt-out, but currently we have not developed a mechanism to opt-out. (We also won't be sending very many notifications out either.) In the future we will provide a way for you to opt-out.
We may also use your name, picture and email address to contact your friends and when you invite them to use this site. This will only be done when you specifically give us permission to contact them.
Cookin'Locker reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor the information that you post to this site. We may remove it if we find it offensive, it violates the law, it violates our Terms of Use, is copyrighted material, or for any other reason.
How We Share Your Information
Personally Identifiable Information
CookinLocker will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to any other party. We do reserve the right to share this information with future third-party partners, but it's use will be bound by this policy. We may also store this information in locations outside of our direct control (such as a datacenter provided by a hosting provider).
Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, Cookin'Locker will not disclose personal information to any third party unless required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to conform to the law, comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities; to enforce our Terms of Use, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, or to protect the security or integrity of our site; and to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Cookin'Locker, our users or others.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
We may use non-personally identifiable information to improve our site and our marketing. We may also share this information with future business partners.
In the future we might use ad service to share adds on this site that contain links to other sites. We do not share any personally identifiable information with these services, but they may receive information, such as your IP-address, from you as they serve their ad on our site. They may use other technology (such as Javascript) to measure and improve their ads' effectiveness and to personalize the ad content.
How We Protect Your Information
We use industry standard technology to secure your data, both on our servers and during transportation of the data in between our servers and your device. However, since we are under development, we cannot provide any assurance to the security of our site. It does remain our goal to provide a safe and secure site that does not unintentionally give your personal information to other parties, unless it is outlined in this document.
Compromise of Personal Information
If we detect a security breach where someone could have obtained your personal information, we will notify you via email. We will also take steps to prevent another security breach. Since this site is under development we cannot make any assurances about the security of your information. If you use this site and submit this information to us, you agree to these risks. We suggest that you don't post information that can cause you harm, either personally or financially.
Your Choices About Your Information
You can access and change your personal information in your profile and on your account settings, anytime after you have provided your personal password. You also have a little control over what information is publicly available. If you do not wish to share information with your "friends," than you can remove them as your friend. You can decline to send in personal information, but some or all of our services may not be provide if you so choose.
Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of young children is important to us. For that reason, we do not knowingly collect or solicit any information about children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not send us any information about yourself, included name, address, contact information, email address, school, pet's name, etc. If you believe that we have collected information about someone under the age of 13, please contact us.

We cannot be responsible for the content or privacy practices of Web sites that are linked to or from Cookin'Locker. If you follow a link to another site, or use a link to get to our site, it is your responsibility to check the privacy policy and terms of that site.
Notification Procedures
We will send you occasional notifications either through email or through announcements posted on this site. Since this site is still under development, we currently do not have a way for you to manage these notifications ("subscriptions"). If you do not wish to receive emails from us, then wait until we have implemented a way to opt-out from certain subscriptions. We will post an announcement, and change this policy accordingly.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on our website to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
